FlipDeck — Privacy Policy

FlipDeck (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a memory card game published by SpinTech. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We built FlipDeck to be safe for families, and we keep the data we use to the minimum needed to run the game.

Information we handle

• Account identifier. When you play, the app signs you in with Firebase Authentication — anonymously by default (no personal details), or with Google Sign-In if you choose. Anonymous sign-in creates only a random account ID.
• Name and email (Google Sign-In only). If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google display name and email address to identify your account and sync your data across devices. Guests do not provide these.
• Display name. A display name (your Google name, or an auto-generated “Guest” name you can edit) is shown so other players in the same online game can see who is playing.
• Gameplay data. Game results, scores, matched pairs, moves, room membership and progress/stats are stored to run multiplayer games and to show your Memory Score and progress. Solo progress is also stored locally on your device.
• Diagnostics. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and basic diagnostic information so we can fix problems.
• Advertising identifier. The app shows ads via Google AdMob, which may access your device’s advertising identifier.

The app requests only the INTERNET permission. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files.

Ads and children

FlipDeck is designed to be family-friendly. All ad requests are configured for child-directed treatment and under the age of consent, capped at a maximum content rating of “G”, and are non-personalized — we do not allow behavioural ad targeting based on your activity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described here, and we do not use children’s data for personalized advertising.

How information is used

• To run the game, including online multiplayer rooms.
• To save and display your scores, progress and streaks.
• To show non-personalized ads that keep the app free.
• To diagnose crashes and improve stability.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is processed by our service providers — Google Firebase (authentication, database, crash reporting) and Google AdMob (ads) — acting on our behalf. Your display name is visible to other players in the same online game. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account and its stored data at any time from Profile → Delete account inside the app. You may also contact us at the email below to request deletion. Local on-device data is removed when you uninstall the app.

Security

All data transmitted between the app and our services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
